An Air Force safety board will investigate he crash of a Predator drone aircraft on the Nevada Test and Training Range, officials said.

No injuries or property damage were reported after the remotely piloted MQ-1 aircraft crashed about 1:15 p.m. Thursday on restricted government property northwest of Las Vegas, according to a statement issued by Nellis Air Force Base public affairs.

The aircraft was being operated by the 11th Reconnaissance Squadron from a command center at Creech Air Force Base, the statement said.
