Sailors from the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), the flagship for Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 7, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14, and Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7 arrived in Hong Kong, China, June 10 for a scheduled port visit.

While in port, approximately 6,000 crew members will have a chance to visit the city of Hong Kong, participate in friendship-building and goodwill-generating activities as well as cultural exchanges.

“We appreciate the international aspects and special status of Hong Kong and look forward to our opportunities to visit this crossroads of the Orient,” said Commander, Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group Rear Adm. Michael H. Miller. “Visits like this show how our countries share many common interests and prove that we can make so many good things happen when we work together.”
