MiG buys Thales Helmet Mounted Display

Thales and Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG have signed a contract for the supply of 20 Thales helmet mounted display systems for the MiG-29 aircraft
for an undisclosed customer. The delivery of these systems is due by the end of 2007. Through this contract, Thales strengthens its leadership and
expertise in the field of helmet mounted display systems, following recent awards achieved with the TopOwl helmet mounted display product family on
various helicopter programmes. Thales’ helmet-mounted sight/display is an invaluable tool for aircraft and helicopter pilots. It gives them all
essential flight control information in front of their eyes, without having to look down at the instrument panel.
