United States defence officials have frozen Israel out of developing a prestigious jet fighter aircraft as punishment for its military cooperation with China, said Israeli defence industry executives on Sunday.

Israel was one of the principal foreign participants in the development of Lockheed Martin Corporation’s F-35. Priced at US$55 million each, the plane is designed to combine supersonic speed with stealth technology at relatively bargain-basement prices. The US Air Force plans to take delivery of the first F-35s in 2008.

On conditions of anonymity, Israeli defence industry executives said the American decision was because of displeasure over Israeli arms deals with China, including its work on the Harpy unmanned aircraft, acquired by China from state-owned Israel Aircraft Industries in the early 1990s. There was no immediate comment from American officials on the report. The Israeli Defence Ministry would not confirm or deny it. “We are in the midst of a dialogue with the United States and hope that within its framework understandings will be reached soon,” a ministry spokeswoman said.

OMG US is looking for trouble. they have like 20% of their population made up of jews and now they mess with jews? are they jealous of isreal and china working together? i mean the israeli special forces and the chinese army does really create a threat to the US. the israeli SF can outgun any special forces in the world except for China's and US's, which are the same level

So true, but then it's funny, and shows how good the Jewish people are at making money.

See US donates $1.5 billion to Israel, Israel makes a mock-up and a prototype and cancels the program therefore, they basically just took $1 billion from the US for free. Then they sell whatever they learned from the US and the 500 million used in the program and sell it to China for a couple more billion dollars. :D Great plan. :D
