The L15 advanced trainer aircraft China independently designed and owned its intellectual property right, which has met the level of the world's advanced fighter planes, recently made its debut in Hongdu Aviation Industry Group in Nanchang, capital of south China's Jiangxi Province. Currently the trainer airplane has officially entered the full-scale assembly period.

Hongdu Aviation Industry Group independently develops L15 trainer aircraft, which has the advanced pneumatic structure, flying control and an aeronautical electric system. It can equip the air force training base, serve the purpose of the basic refitting tactical training for the third-generation fighter plane, properly satisfy the training need of the fourth-generation fighter plane, as well as complete all the basic training courses. Meanwhile, L15 trainer aircraft can also equip combat force and aviation institute, performing advanced piloting training, part of special training and combat training.

According to Hongdu Aviation Industry Group, L15 trainer aircraft has the excellent pneumatic structure, can control a 30-degree flight angle of incidence, which is conducive to the pilots' training of the third and fourth generations of fighter planes. Additionally, the body of L15 trainer aircraft, which has the advantage of a long life span and high reliability, ensures the safe flying of 10,000 hours and a service life of 30 years, reaching the advanced level of similar fighter aircrafts. Its comprehensive aeronautical electric system will be able to satisfy the need of future combating environment involving information and network.
