Fighters in al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade are proud to show off their new arsenal of homemade rockets called the "Yasser Arafat". They are designed farther and strike harder than other makeshift missiles. It has a range of 18 kilometeres and a 16 kilogram warhead. Although these rockets are rarely lethal, Israel has been hard pushed to shtop the barrages. The first rockets, Qassams, were pioneered by Hamas and since then, Other Islamic and secular groups have joined to build bigger and better missiles. Islamic Jihad has the Al-Quds 3, Popular Front for the Liberation of Plaestine fires al-Musafas rockets and the Popular Ressistance Committees has Nasser 3 rockets.
