Russia wants broader arms trade with Brazil

MOSCOW. Oct 12 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin has spoken for expanding military-technical cooperation with Brazil.
At a Tuesday meeting in Moscow with Brazilian Vice President Jose Alencar, he asked his guest about his impressions of a visit to the Sukhoi
aircraft-making company.
Putin hoped the visit "will lay a good foundation for military- technical relations between our two countries."
Alencar said the visit to Sukhoi convinced him that Russia has achieved much in the high-technology sphere.
