Ryanair 737 Emergency Lands in Bomb Scare

A flight from Paris to Dublin has been diverted to Glasgow, causing Prestwick airport to be closed.

Reports say the Ryanair flight landed at Prestwick around 1.20pm, accompanied by two RAF Tornado aircraft, after a note was passed to the cabin crew claiming that there was a bomb on board the Boeing 737.

A Ryanair statement said: Ryanair said: "All passengers together with Ryanair are co-operating fully with the police and local safety authorities.
