Airlines could lose over $10billion US this year.
"With jet fuel at over US$54 a barrel, its highest in 14 years, most airlines' operating numbers are way below their break-even levels
"
The Airline industry after suffering losses due to the 911 incident may take another hit as jet fuel prices take another height. Jet fuel price is at
$54 a barrel way and has pushed most airlines' operating numbers way below their break-even levels.
This oil crisis comes just as the airline industry starts to recover from another $10billlion US of losses from the Sars crisis, and post 911
effects.

Yikes! Airlines can't seem to catch a break.
Yea, that's too bad because..It's going to create un uprise in everything, if Airlines are going to raise ticket prices(Is already happening). That's the best means of travel!
Yea everything will have raised prices because of this oil spike, cause everything is transported by car, ship and plane which all needs oil.
I wonder how much it would affect the almost bankrupt airlines like Air Canada.
